Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Cairo – Cairo

Welcome to Egypt!

Welcome to the history and mystery of this Ancient Land – The Land of the Pharaohs.

Our airport representative will be meet you upon arrival in Cairo International Airport. He will assist you with arrival procedures including the purchase of your entrance visa*

After collecting your luggage, you will be transferred to your first hotel, just near the Pyramids. Once the hotel check-in is complete your tour manager will update you with plans for the next few days. Depending on your arrival time you can choose to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities or book in for the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids this evening. (Show is optional and at your own cost)

Day 02 : Pyramids – Sphinx Museum

Today you get to experience what millions only dream of: standing in awe of the Pyramids of Giza, including the largest one of all the so-called Great Pyramid said to be the tomb of the Pharaoh Khufu dating back over 5000 years.After exploring the pyramids you will have the option to enter the Kings Chamber of the Great pyramid and also take a camel ride deep into the desert for some amazing photo opportunities of a total of 9 pyramids in one shot.

We are not finished on the Giza Plateau just yet; we will visit the Guardian Angel of the area, the monolithic Sphinx.The Sphinx is a mythical creature with the body of a lion and head of a human, carved from limestone it proudly sits facing the horizon and greets the sunrise as it has done daily for centuries. The day still has more treasures in store with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to thousands upon thousands of artefacts covering all the eras of Egyptian history, including the most famous piece of all, the Golden Mask of the young King Tutankhamun. The museum is overflowing with priceless treasures and our guide will explain the masterpieces then allow you plenty of free time to explore at your leisure. Free photography inside the museum is now permitted with a mobile phone with the exception of the King Tut exhibit.

Day 03 : Aswan – Philae Temple

Embark Nile Cruise ( Fri – Mon – Wed)

After breakfast will transfer to Luxor airport to fly to Aswan upon arrival we will visit the Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser We will then board a motor boat for our visit to Philae Temple located on the small island on the Nile River called Agilkia. Philae was one of the Temples saved by UNESCO during the construction of the High Dam in the 1960’s We will then return to Aswan, to embark your 5 star cruise ship. The rest of the day is yours. As an option, you might want to enjoy the spectacular Sound and Light Show at the Philae temple or visit the Aswan markets to test your bargaining skills for some souvenirs or purchase your outfit for the Galabeya party tomorrow night.

Day 04 : Nile Cruise – Komombo Temple

Today we will begin cruising the Nile, firstly to the Temple of KomOmbo – the only dual temple in Egypt and dedicated to two gods, Haroeris, the sun god & Sobek the crocodile god. This temple is just a short stroll from your boat and has a fascinating history including the hieroglyphic carvings showing medical instruments we still use in our present days.

We return to our cruise boat and enjoy lunch on-board.This afternoon we sail towards the Temple of Edfu. Dinner on board. Cruise party tonight!!!

Day 05: Valley Of The Kings – Hatshepsut

After an early breakfast, you will visit the West Bank of Luxor.

The Valley of the Kings or the Kings Valley is famous as the resting place of the most well-known Pharaoh of them all, King Tutankhamun along with many others.

Today you will get to climb deep inside these highly decorated tombs that were cut deep in the mountain many thousands of years ago. Our guide will chose the most beautiful and colourful tombs that are open on the day. Later you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the most famous female Pharaoh to rule Egypt. Before returning to the cruise boat you will visit the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served on-board and the afternoon is yours, free to relax take a swim or wander the local area. Relax and take in some more of the city of Luxor or as an option, we can arrange a hot-air balloon ride for you if you wish.

The evening is free. Dinner will be on board. Overnight on board cruise ship.

Day 06: Luxor – Red Sea (Hurghada)

(Luxor – East Bank – Travel to Hurghada – Red Sea)

After breakfast on-board you will disembark the cruise boat before visiting Egypt’s largest temple complex, Karnak Temples. Wander the columns of the much photographed hypostyle hall and explore the numerous projects of the Pharaohs including the numerous chapels, sanctuaries and temples. Gaze upon the well-preserved obelisk of the famed Queen Hatshepsut before visiting the Sacred Lake and the largest carved scarab found in all of Egypt.

Later today we visit the Luxor Temple. Constructed over hundreds of years by Amenhotep III, Ramses II, Tutankhamun, and other pharaohs, Luxor Temple was the largest and most significant religious centre in ancient Egypt. After exploring Ancient Egypt we will transfer to the Red Sea and one of the most famous dive spots in the world, Hurghada.

Upon arrival we will check-in to our hotel and the afternoon is free to explore. Please discuss any optional activities with our representative.

Day 07 : Hurghada

(Hurghada – Red Sea – Bedouin Dinner optional)

Free Day. Optional activities include: diving, snorkeling, glass-bottomed boat out to see the stunning coral reefs?

This afternoon, we will pick you up to take you out to enjoy a Bedouin dinner. (optional extra) This includes a 4WD Safari ride to the Bedouin camp, then a camel ride to watch the sunset and enjoy a BBQ dinner Bedouin style.

Overnight in Hurghada hotel. (Al inclusive)

Day 08 : Hurghada – Cairo

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. You will be transferred to your hotel or to any optional tours you have chosen.

OPTIONAL: Cairo City Tour which includes Coptic and Islamic Cairo or the Khan el Khalili Bazaar Other day tours are available, please discuss with your representative.

Day 09 : Cairo – Cairo Airport – Amman Airport – Amman

After breakfast or depending on your flight times, our representative will transfer you back to Cairo International Airport to continue your trip to Jordan , Arrive Amman Airport where our airport staff will meet you at the gate just as you leave the airplane. Full assistance with the visa and customs formalities, transfer to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 10 : Panoramic Amman City Tour – Madaba & Nebo – Petra

Breakfast – running the panoramic view of Amman, capital of Jordan, to see the Citadel, roman theatre, the old city and the main streets and avenues, stroll through the busy souqs, then passing by the houses in the residential areas Abdoun (PANORAMIC TOUR). Continue drive to Madaba, well known for its Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Especially popular in Madaba is the 6th century mosaic map of Palestine on the floor of the orthodox St. George’s Church. Continue to Mount Nebo, not far from Madaba. Mt. Nebo where Prophet Moses gazed across the Promised Land and also where he later died, here one can also find the remains of a church from the 4th century and a monastery with magnificent mosaics. From the mountain enjoy a panoramic view of the Holy Land; usually Jericho is visible and on clear days Jerusalem is visible too. The importance of the place lies in being the last place visited by Moses. Continue drive to Petra. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 11 : Petra Visit – Wadi Rum

The ancient Nabatean city of Petra was recently voted as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. In 1985 Petra was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Begin your visit by enjoying a walk or a short horse ride from Petra’s main entrance to the entrance of the old city “Al Siq”. As you reach the end of the Siq, the first and greatest monument of Petra slowly comes into view. This is the famous Treasury monument “Al Khazneh”. Indulge yourself, and walk through the architectural and spiritual wonders of this majestic place examining every detail in sight, after the visit of Petra, Depart to the Natural Resort of Wadi Rum “The Valley of the Moon” a unique place unlike anywhere else you have ever visited. Arrive at the village of Rum where you will be picked up by local Bedouins to explore this splendid desert. They will drive you with their 4×4 Bedouin Pick Ups (6 pax per pick Up) for approximately 02 hours to the Bed of the Valley of the Moon to the great mountain of Al Khazali.

Day 12 : Wadi Rum – Dead Sea

After breakfast, drive to the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth 400 meters below sea level. Spend the rest of the day bathing and relaxing in the gently lapping waters of the Dead Sea and be amazed that you can’t sink!
