Jordan, Israel, Egypt – Jouney To The Holy Land

Lunch – Then proceed to the lost city of Petra with Horseback Ride through the picturesque SIQ, and visit the Treasury, Depart to the Natural Resort of Wadi Rum “The Valley of the Moon” a unique place unlike anywhere else you have ever visited. Arrive at the village of Rum where you will be picked up by local Bedouins to explore this splendid desert. They will drive you with their 4×4 Bedouin Pick Ups (6 pax per pick Up) for approximately 02 hours to the Bed of the Valley of the Moon to the great mountain of Al Khazali.

Ascend up to Jerusalem and end the day in Ein Kerem, the hometown village of John the Baptist. Visit the Church of the Visitation where Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. Visit Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu – the traditional House of Caiaphas where Jesus was kept in the Dungeon. Proceed to Mount Zion and visit the Upper Room where Jesus had the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey where our Blessed Mother went to sleep and assumed to heaven. Visit Cenacle- Last Supper Room, the tomb of King David and –the other upper room. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Visit the Church of the Nativity, the birthplace of Jesus. Continue on to the Shepherds Field where we sing Christmas Carols. Visits Manger Square-Crusader of Grotto -Milk of Grotto. We enter the Old City of Jerusalem and visit Bethesda Pool where Jesus healed the paralytic man. Walling Wall – the holiest site for the Jews. Proceed to the Church of the Condemnation and the Church of the Flagellation where we start our Via Dolorosa (way of grief) on the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchers, the traditional site of the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. “The burial place & resurrections of Jesus, called Golgotha which means “A place of skull”. Follow the 14 Stations of the Cross to Golgotha, the place where Jesus was crucified marking significant events along the route. The last 5 Stations of the Cross are inside the Church of the Holy Sepulcher visible from the distance with two silver domes .Also the tomb widely believed to be part of the stone that covered Jesus Tomb. Dinner and overnight in Bethlehem.

Ascend up to Mount of Olives and visit the Pater Noster Church traditionally the site where Jesus taught the disciples how to pray “Our Father, the traditional site of the ascension of the Lord and Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Descend on foot to the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus spent His last night before He was arrested and where Jesus agonized in prayer prior to his betrayal and arrested. Visit the Basilica of agony and Tomb of St. Mary & Lazarus tomb. Travel to Jericho, the oldest and lowest city in the world, Jericho the ancient city conquered by Joshua and the Israelites. Then proceed to view Mount of Temptation where Satan tempted Jesus where Jesus stayed 40days and 40nights. Visit the Sycamore Tree of Zacchaeus where he climbs up at a tree to view Jesus while he is preaching not knowing that our Savior will be his guest for dinner at his home. Free time in Dead Sea.

Breakfast, then Proceed to Qumran – where the Dead Sea Scrolls where discovered. And view Lot’s Wife who turned into a pillar of salt in Mount Sodom. Travel all the way to the Taba Border where we cross over to Egypt. Today, we leave Israel with unforgettable and life changing experiences and wealth of memories to cherish and to treasure. Cross Taba border of Egypt with assistance on both borders. For those who will climb MT Sinai- Preparation @ 10pm then transfer to Camel Station for Mt Climbing then back to hotel.
